Mary Jean is a Gospel & Country Music Artist from Clay, Alabama, a small town nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains near the heart of the Cahaba River. Mary's musical influences span many generations which include Great Country & Gospel Music Artists. Mary performed as a member of her High School Choir, State Choirs, Church Choirs, Gospel & Country Music Groups.
Mary Jean fondly remembers singing with Her Father, who was a great local Country Music Artist.
After graduation, Mary Jean joined The U.S. Army where She met her Husband of 25 years, with whom she has a daughter. Mary Jean is also a Gold & Silver Medallist Member of Sweet Adeline's Nashville Star. 
In 1997, Mary Jean was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Ironically, Mary's love of Music was suggested as a form of therapy for Her condition, which has oppened a divine door of opportunities.
